Hi Annie, just a quick thank you for a great job on my jacket, a zip that lines up on both sides, no more hands through to the lining when I put them in the pockets, no dangly bits of cotton, and cotton that matches original. BRILLIANT

Jacket is as good as new, lovely job.

Thanks for all your hard work on the bag Annie, I’m really pleased with it and I’m sure my husband will be too.

We weren’t sure how old or when my father in law first had the bag but the date of 1963 which you found in the bag was the year my father in law turned 30.

Coincidentally having the bag restored is a gift for my husbands 30th too.

Thanks again for all your hard work on this.

I have a 30yr old lambskin coat full length and fitted too small for me now but worth a lot of money can you alter it for me

    • Annie

      May 31, 2014 at 8:29 am

      Morning Susan,
I need to see the coat before I can say yes or no.
Matching the sheepskin will be the biggest problem and also the amount that has to be put in.
Please come to the shop so I can have a good look and give you a decision and costings
      Thank you

    • Annie

      May 14, 2014 at 6:13 pm

      Hi Barry,
I can certainly do these jobs for you.
I am on a 7 week lead at present, so the sooner you come and see me, the sooner I can put the job up for you.
The costing’s on this I cannot do until I see how the trousers are made up to assess where and how they can be reduced, and, how the join zip fits onto the jacket, however, the zip in the trousers is £35.
Look forward to seeing you soon

It is certainly not a 5 minute while you wait type job. Sorry

My leathers are now too big for me. Are you able to do anything to make them fit properly?

    • Annie

      May 9, 2014 at 7:46 am

      Hi Jon,
It can be done, however if there is that much to be done it may not be cost effective.
I will need to see you in them to assess the work required and then I can give you an estimate on cost.
      Hope to see you soon

I inderstand that you do work for Total Mast Solutions.
I wonder if you have ever been asked for a cover for the tow hitch levelling bar which they supply. If this is completely ga-ga to you I can send a picture and some dimensions which might help you to provide me with a quote.
    With Kind Regards

      Hi Chris,
You are absolutely right, it is complete ‘ga-ga’ to me.
If you could send some pictures etc as you said that will certainly help.
I am on a six week lead time at present, with no end in sight, so please factor that into your timescales.
      Please e-mail to
Thank you for your enquiry and I hope to hear from you soon

I have a set of bike leathers and the zip is broken in the jacket. How much would it cost to get it replaced? Thankyou.

    • Annie

      March 31, 2014 at 7:43 am

      Morning Susan
I assume you mean the joining zip?? Joining zips start at £30 up to £60 depends on size and match.
If you mean the main zip in the jacket, that is £35.
Thank you for your enquiry and I hope to see you soon

What a find! I had a goatskin leather jacket which having bought before losing close to three stone was way too big for me. Simple research led me to believe that altering leather jackets can be very very difficult with no margin for error.

Found cobra online and popped in for a chat with Annie to see if anything could be done. Fast forward a couple of weeks later and the results are simply incredible! Side seams flawlessly adjusted with no evidence of anything being done to the original. This is a £500 Hugo Boss jacket and the quality of Annie’s handwork is highly commendable and i have no hesitation in recommending her services without reservation.

Annie also stocks some pre-loved leather items and on my first visit i picked up an extra leather jacket and couldn’t be happier.

If you are in the market for great value leather clothes, pop in for a browse. If you have a loved leather item that needs adjustment the level of service and great value prices make this place THE leather destination in Wiltshire! I am a VERY happy customer, best of luck for the future Annie!

I’ve just collected my 15 year old Dainese leather jacket after being refurbished. Awesome job done. It was grey and badly faded, now it’s like new again. Thanks very much, I can’t recommend Cobra enough – I’m a very happy customer.

      March 4, 2014 at 8:06 am

      Morning Steve,
I need to see the seat before I can give any idea on price.
It has a rip which probably means a new cover.
Please pop in sometime with the scooter or just the seat and we can take it from there.
      Thank you for your enquiry

Hi. I have an old leather jacket and the lining throughout has had it and needs replacing, if possible. Do you offer this kind of service, please. And any idea on cost?
    Thanks, Rich

    • Annie

      March 3, 2014 at 6:52 pm

      Hi Rich,
A full reline starts at £150, it goes up depending on the complexity. I’m afraid it is not a 5 minute job.
      I am on a 4 to 5 week lead.
Hope I can be of service

      • Rich

        March 4, 2014 at 2:18 pm

        • Annie

          March 4, 2014 at 6:20 pm

          No problem.
I am afraid it is a very time consuming process and the lining materials aren’t just pence either.
          Thanks for letting me know

Have a small repair/replacement job on my bike leathers. Velcro fastener on the waistband and also on the Neckband. rough price please.

Now do I bring the over or Mail them?

    • Annie

      March 3, 2014 at 6:58 pm

      Hi Laurence,
      The replacement will cost £15 – £25.
      I am on a 4 – 5 week lead.
You can bring them in as I think mailing for such a small job would not be cost effective unless you are 100’s of miles away.
If you are still using them, I can book them in and contact you a few days before the job comes up, then you won’t have to be without them for too long.
I just need your phone number (mob preferred) to book it in.
Hope to hear from you soon

I would like a recover on a front and rear seat of a GSX 600 (’92). If possible in black but with a dark green stripe front to back.

What sort of cost would i be looking at?

    • Annie

      February 21, 2014 at 5:45 pm

I am unable to price unless I see the seat ‘in the flesh’…
I can certainly do it for you, however you do need to pop in and see me.

Hi I have 12 plate ybr and I have little legs so I have had to remove some foam from my seat. But it’s not a tidy job how much would it cost for me to have a nice tidy seat with a very thin covering of foam. I will be in Swindon at blades on the 21/02/14 so can pop round for you to have a look at the seat and bike if that helps.

    • Annie

      February 21, 2014 at 8:38 am

I can certainly tidy it all up for you, a normal cut down is £40 ish, however as it probably needs re foaming to a degree if you budget £50/60 you will be ok. I am open today 10am-1pm 1:30pm-4pm.
      Hope to see you later

    Hi there.
I have a zx6r which I bought 2nd hand however I believe one owner was must have been very short and removed most of the padding.
How much would it cost to repair this?

    Many thanks

    • Annie

      February 20, 2014 at 8:36 am

      Morning Nate,

I do need to see the seat first before I can make any estimate on costs.
As it has been cut down, and depending by how much, the cover will not be able to be re-used as the staple holes will show-rip-leak!!

Hope to see you soon at the shop

Hi I am wondering how much it would cost to get a name patch on my leathers

    • Annie

      January 30, 2014 at 6:28 pm

      Hi Paul,
When you say name patch you mean ‘PAUL’? If that is the case then it is down to the style you want. However it is an average of £10 per letter, fitted.
I actually make it as a patch. If you are talking about a pre-made patch, they are from £4 fitted.
Hope to hear from you soon

I have an audi with leather seats and front drivers side bolster has worn – i have tried a repair using flexible filler but struggle with colour match wondering what you could offer as the rest of the interior is in super condition..
    many thanks.

    • Annie

      January 22, 2014 at 8:17 am

      Hi Jules,

I really need to see the seat before I can make a judgement.
However you could look at a web site that I use to purchase my dyes etc. the dye you are looking for is ‘scuff master’
They have a list of vehicles and can match ANY colour.
I can say nothing but good things about them. So, so very helpful.
      Hope this helps

    • Annie

      January 15, 2014 at 6:27 pm

Hi Rob, I really need to see them, as I can only work on them if I can get them on the machine. So if you could pop in that would be great. Price…again can’t say until I see them. Hope to see you soon

Hope you had a good weekend, thanks for your latest endeavors with my nylon flying jackets. Shortened back & tighter cuffs have made an unwearable jacket extremely wearable & what a lovely job you made of it.

I know I booked two more in with you (inc the wife’s new jacket). Can I add another for shortening on the back?

I took Annie a Bagster tank bag that needed one of the straps restitching, the seat from my motorbike that needed new material and my leather trousers that needed the waist band restricting.
She did a cracking repair on the bag which ended up looking like it’s never been apart, recovered the seat and replaced some of the worn out sponge too and made my trousers fit me again.
I cannot recommend her enough to anyone who needs any work carried out and I will happily keep using her because of the high quality of her work.

hi just wondering if you could make two pairs of grass track leathers many thanks don

    • Annie

      August 10, 2013 at 7:51 am

      Hi Don,
I do not do ‘tailoring’ I’m sorry to say. What I can do for you is:- you buy to fit where it is needed then I alter the rest to fit. Such as large shoulders, small waist, you buy to fit the shoulders and I take the waist in to fit.
Hope I can help at some stage.
      Thank you for your enquiry

I have a high spec Cobra replica and after recent rebuild the leather handbrake gaiter is now too small, I.e the handbrake now pulls up more so is lifting the trim away from the transmission tunnel.

If I sent the trim would you be able to make a larger gaiter and if so could to give me an approximate cost please.

I also have a Harley Davidson leather jacket which I would like to modify so that the Harley Davidson on the back is taken of to leave the plain orange strep and the HD badge taken off the 1 badge on the front of the jacket. (I can provide pictures of all if required).

Can you advise if you can do the jacket and approximate cost.

    Many thanks

    • Annie

      June 24, 2013 at 7:07 am

      Hi Keith,

The gaiter can be done, I need to know how much the gaiter is short and it needs to be marked (chalk is a good) on the sides that need to be extended and by how much. That would be up to £40 including the materials.
The jacket can be done, however you will be left with a stitch line on the jacket, that may or may not eventually go away. That would probably be up to £30, it depends on how well it is stitched on and what has to be done to remove any ‘sticky’ that may have been used to hold it in place whilst being stitched.
I am on a minimum 4 – 5 week turn round so if you want the jobs done, please let me know. I can put the job up for you and contact you closer to the date to enable you to get them to me.
Hope to hear from you soon

    • Annie

      June 13, 2013 at 6:15 am

      Hi Andy,
I can certainly do that for you. Depending on how you want it done, it will be £10 for a cut and double stitch, or £20 for a turn and stitch.
Hope to see you at the shop soon

    May 27, 2013 at 7:23 pm

I have a jacket and trousers which are different brands and have different connecting zips. Would it be possible to make them match? And also take the trousers in a little? If so what kind of turn around would it be roughly? And a rough cost? Thanks

    • Annie

      May 27, 2013 at 9:09 pm

I can do that for you. A full 360 zip is up to £60 all depends on how it is fitted into the jacket and trousers. The taking in of the trousers is all dependant on the make up of them and also how much needs to come out. I am on a 4 week turn round, however I don’t need them till the job is due. So I put the job up and then contact you just before it is due so as you can bring them in to me. I will need to see them on you. Hope to see you soon so as we can start the ball rolling for you.

I’m so sorry, I don’t do tailoring. However what I do is you buy what fits you where is needed and I alter the rest. Such as, large waist, skinny legs, buy to fit the waist, I take the legs in. Thank you for your interest and I hope to be of service to you in the future

Hope you’ve had a great Xmas.
I won a voucher in a raffle at the Barfly rally back in the summer. Could I swap it for a dog collar with the name Pablo on it and a matching lead? I don’t mind paying a bit more if necessary. Is there anyway I could send you a design idea and sizes/lengths etc.

    • Annie

      January 11, 2013 at 8:20 am

      Hi Matt,
Congratulations on winning the raffle, brilliant rally, just a bit damp under foot!!!!
What I need is the exact length of the collar, from end to end, not the
measurement of the dogs neck, and the lead.
Also if you can e-mail me what it is you are looking for, then I can see what is possible and what is not.
If you use then I can use the material more easily.
Once I have the details, then I can work out a price for you. It is not the materials that cost so much it is the hardware and my time. It may pay you to buy a collar and lead and I customise it for you.
      We shall see.
Thank you for your enquiry and I look forward to hearing from you, maybe see you at a rally some time. I’m the one with the trike with a kennel on the back!!

Hi Annie I have a rip on my bike seat I would like it all redone maybe a design on it aswel how much would it cost to redo my whole seat on a vt125 as i want it yellow with a bat symbol in the centre im just looking for a fairly rough estimate so I could start saving to get it done.

    • Annie

      December 27, 2012 at 9:35 am

      Hi Will,
I would prefer to see the seat before I give an estimate, however, the price could be anything from £100 to £250. It is all dependant on materials how intricate the design is and obviously how long it will take me. If you could come by with the seat and an idea of the design we could have a conflab, then I can give you a much closer estimate.
Thanks for your interest and I hope to see you soon. Happy New Year

      Size about 14 ins square,

        September 17, 2012 at 6:36 am

Hi Carol, handbags are difficult to price until I see the make up of it. However it will probably be about £30. The problem is, when you take the zip out everything else falls apart. Thank you for your enquiry and hope to see you soon. Annie

Have used Cobra-leathers twice now, for jobs that needed to be done within my role in the army. I found Annie very knowledgeable and helpful. The work she carried out was to very high standards, i will be using again and have passed the company info on to the unit clothing stores. Many thanks again

Annie did a superb job of adding a short zip to a set of 2nd hand Joe Rocket leather trousers I bought from eBay. She noticed straight away that they had been repaired badly before and she did a magnificent job of undoing someone’s shoddy work.

I decided to change the look of my 18 year Virago XV750 and after spraying paintwork, shortening the exhausts and back mudguard the leather split on the seat really let it down. Then we managed to find Annie on the website and I’m so glad we did!! She has not only done a brilliant job of re-covering it but she’s managed to keep the original shape with hand made buttons!! There was a slight gap between the seat and pillion seat but this didn’t phase Annie and we now have a sash between the two seats which means it has it’s own unique style!! Thankyou Annie for such an amazing job and we will always recommend you to family and friends. Have sent a couple of pictures to email for you to see the seat in situ.

Annie has recovered two seats for me & relined two leather Jackets, all the jobs have been done properly and at a very good price. One of my jackets is in the gallery – the one with the very subdued purple lining, it’s a damn good jacket & now has a new lease of life. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cobra to anyone.

Annie has done many jobs for me, small and large, and I can honestly say I have never been disappointed. She does have to use a bit of ‘licence’ occassionally, but I have always been very pleased with the end result. Always recommend her to anyone that asks.
